Outdoor Activities
Beauly is a popular centre for those who are interested in game sports as fabulous shooting and fishing are available locally.

The River Beauly is a renowned salmon river, but also provides the scene for some of the gentler walks around the village. Trout fishing is also available locally - for more information visit Morison's the Ironmongers on the High Street.

The Beauly Bowling Club was founded in 1868 and is still going strong today. They welcome visitors to the green which is behind the Phipps Institute.

The village also provides an excellent base if you are looking for more energetic pursuits and some of the most beautiful mountains and glens in Scotland, including the renowned Glen Affric, lie on its doorstep.

Cycling is popular in the local area and the village is the finishing line for the annual Highland Cross when participants travel from the west coast to the east coast of Scotland by cycling and running.

Golfers are well catered for in the immediate surrounding area with a delightfully situated 9-hole golf course at Aigas and Muir of Ord's 18-hole course which is mainly parkland.
